Our Social Responsibility

Sanofi acts ethically and responsibly to be a healthcare partner today and tomorrow. Our sustainability approach places the patient at the heart of the Group’s business conduct. Sanofi has identified four key areas as being material to our business. They are:

• People 21 – our employees and communities
• Ethics 21 – our ethics in action
• Planet 21 – our environmental performance

Why "21"? Sanofi chose to add "21" to the four key areas (Patient , People, Ethics and Planet) in order to harmonise our mission with the United Nation's blueprint for sustainability in the 21st Century called "Agenda 21".
