Our Locations

In Australia and New Zealand we employ over 1000 full time employees. Around half of these employees are field sales professionals. Our Head Office for our Pharmaceuticals, Rare diseases (Genzyme) and Vaccines (Sanofi Pasteur) are located in North Ryde, NSW and our Consumer Healthcare Head Office and Manufacturing facilities are located in Virginia QLD. We have state sales offices across Australia and New Zealand.

Consumer Healthcare

Sanofi Consumer Healthcare Australia is one of the largest consumer healthcare businesses in the country with a diverse portfolio of vitamin, mineral and supplement; over the counter; and personal care brands including Nature’s Own, Cenovis, Ostelin, Betadine, Gastrolyte, Telfast, Selsun and others. Sales and Marketing

Focused around our key customers, our sales and marketing teams work together to ensure that patients, physicians, healthcare providers, pharmacists and retailers are well-informed about our company’s products. We are dedicated to sustaining our position as an industry leader and maintaining the trust of the medical profession, patients and consumers.

Medical Affairs

Medical Affairs encompasses a variety of disciplines and job responsibilities that begin during product development and continue throughout a drug’s life cycle.  We offer opportunities in fields from clinical research through to regulatory affairs, medical communication and product safety, quality and compliance, medical affairs and post-marketing clinical operations.

Product Innovation

In our Consumer Healthcare business, our ability to conceptualise, research, develop and produce Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements to meet the changing needs of our consumers is vital to our success. Our experts include research and development, naturopathic innovation and support, regulatory affairs and commercialisation.

Finance and Operations

The Finance and Operations department contributes greatly to the direction of our company, as well as to the development and implementation of its strategic planning, in addition to challenging the organisation to maximise results.  Our team counsels internal client groups on financial matters, assesses the financial impact of business decisions and provides various support services, such as information services, legal, purchasing and supply chain (logistics and distribution).

Public Affairs and Communications

The Public Affairs and Market Access team, is responsible for securing reimbursement of our products through the Australian Government’s Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme. Our team prepares product submissions to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee, develops economic models and quality of life data, manages pricing requirements with our head office and coordinates government relations at the political and bureaucratic level. We also coordinate external policy development in areas of immediate relevance to Sanofi.

Our Communications team is responsible for positively positioning, projecting and protecting Sanofi’ reputation and ensuring that we work in accordance with our corporate values. Also responsible for corporate giving and philanthropy, Communications encourage active community involvement and support socially responsible investments.

Human Resources

The Sanofi Human Resources department develops and implements strategic initiatives consistent with our Values and business imperatives to both attract potential candidates and retain current employees. In doing so, the team enhances employee performance, promotes personal development and organisational effectiveness.

Sanofi Pasteur

With a heritage dating back to the pioneer of vaccination, Sanofi Pasteur is the vaccines business of the Sanofi Group. Sanofi Pasteur is one of the the largest companies in the world devoted entirely to human vaccines. The Australia New Zealand subsidiary is headquartered in North Ryde, NSW.
